Sanur is a practical place for a first or last night in Bali because it sits on the same side of the island as Ngurah Rai Airport, typically around 25 to 30 minutes by car in normal traffic, without the west-coast jams. You land, you are at the villa quickly, and you can start or finish the trip rested instead of stuck in a transfer.

After a long flight, nobody wants a long drive. Sanur is on the same side of the island as Ngurah Rai Airport, about 25 to 30 minutes away in normal traffic, with flat lanes and a reef-sheltered sea.

Land in the evening and our concierge can have a driver waiting at arrivals and the fridge stocked before you turn the key. Check-in from 15:00 until 23:00; later arrivals by arrangement, tell us your flight number. Wake to your own pool, walk to breakfast on the beach promenade, and only then decide how fast the rest of the trip needs to be.

From Sanur, everything is an easy next hop: Ubud in about an hour, East Bali beyond it, and the fast boats to the islands from the nearby harbour. And at the end of the trip, the same villa makes an easy last night: pack by the pool, sleep properly, and reach the airport in about 25 to 30 minutes.
